»It started with a colorful monotype — a kind of playground for shapes and moods. Then I couldn’t resist cutting up painted and printed papers and letting them dance across the surface, following the rhythm of the background. A little dialogue began — movement flirting with abstraction. And when my eyes landed on those wild green brushstrokes up in the corner, I just thought: ‘Green curls — beautiful!’ And that was it. The painting had found its name.«
