In 1992, in a small comedor in Cuzco, Peru, our paths crossed – we, Endy Hupperich and Thomas Richter. What began as a chance encounter quickly turned into a deep friendship that would last for decades. During a four-day trek to Machu Picchu, we not only discovered the breathtaking beauty of the Peruvian landscape but also a shared passion for nature, art, and creativity. That journey marked the beginning of a connection that has continued to bring us together – even across nearly 10,000 kilometers.

Endy has been living in Mexico since 2014, inspired by the country’s vibrant culture and colors. Thomas, on the other hand, settled in Upper Bavaria, where the scenic landscapes and calm surroundings fuel his creativity. Despite our different worlds, we’ve never lost touch. Over the years, our friendship has grown and become a constant source of inspiration.

In 2024, we decided to combine our creative energies and start a shared project: artvariable. The idea was born from a deep desire to make art accessible to a wider audience. We truly believe that art should be for everyone – no matter their budget or the size of their space. Art has the power to connect people, spark emotions, and open up new perspectives.

With artvariable, we want to build a platform that allows us to share our work – and give other artists a stage as well. We believe in the diversity of art and in the idea that everyone has the right to experience and enjoy it. Our vision is to celebrate art in all its forms and make it accessible to all..
